Art

"Every child is an artist. The problem is how to remain an artist once we grow up."

- Pablo Picasso

Art is an important subject that allows children to exercise their creativity.  Students learn to problem-solve, invent, imagine, and communicate in fresh and new ways.  Successful scientists, engineers, researchers, innovators, entrepreneurs, artists, performers, writers, designers, inventors, teachers and parents, ALL need to be able to think creatively.  This ability to "think outside of the box" leads to a successful future where extraordinary things can happen.

Art topics include: Visual Communication and Production, Cultural Context and Art History, Judgment and Criticism, and Aesthetics.
