Welcome to Fourth Grade!!!

This year we be reading to learn, rather than learning to read. Students will

learn to annotate in reading and math to find answers. In fourth grade

Social Studies we will learn all about Virginia and where it all started.

Take Home Folders - will be sent home every Wednesday. Please make sure to

empty the envelope and please return to your child’s teacher.

Math and Virginia Studies notebooks and workbooks should be brought home

daily for nightly review.

DISMISSAL - It is very important to us that your child gets home correctly. We

will continue to send your child home the same way unless we get a note or an

e-mail from you by 2:00 PM. Please ensure that your child knows their car

number or van name. This will help in speeding up our dismissal process.

VOLUNTEER APPLICATION OPEN

Any parents or family members who would like to assist in any classroom

celebrations need to have a Volunteer Application. Volunteers are only required
