Kindergarten Instructional Assistants
Kindergarten here at William Mason Cooper Magnet School for Technology-Star Achievers’ Academy offers young children many opportunities to learn and practice academic, social, and technology skills that will benefit them throughout their lives. Students participate in extensive training with letters, letter sounds, building a reading vocabulary, numbers and number sense in a developmentally appropriate environment. We include science, social studies, art, music, and physical education. Students work daily on computers and spend valuable time each week in the technology lab.
Cooper's kindergarten teachers know and understand the importance of parents' roles as the first and most important teachers of their children. We look forward each school year to the challenges that educating each child brings.
